Important Compliances Dates


•	Last date for TDS/TCS payment for the month of June – 7th July, 2013

•	Last date of filing of TDS/TCS returns for Q1 of F.Y. 2013-14 – 15th July, 2013

TDSMAN updated with FVU Ver. 3.8

TDSMAN has been one of the first to be fully compliant with the newly released File Validation Utility FVU 3.8. This new FVU is applicable from 01/07/2013. All TDS / TCS Returns for FY: 2013-14 and earlier years needs to be validated with this new FVU.

All licensed and trial users should update their software immediately before preparing their TDS / TCS returns for FY: 2013-14, Quarter 1 which is due on 15th July 2013.

There have been major structural changes that would be applicable from FY: 2013-14. Click here to get a summary of features / changes announced.

One of the significant features is introduction of Late Fee for delayed return filing under Section 234E. It has become even more important to file returns on time to avoid such penalties.

Further, now the Section was being specified in the Challan, however, now this needs to be provided in the deductee details. This implies that one challan can be used for multiple sections.
